Democrat John Edwards is one of the first to officially announce his candidacy for the 2008 presidential election. He spent part of Saturday in Buffalo, attending a private campaign fundraiser.
2 On Your Side's Ron Plants was able to sit down with the former U.S. Senator from North Carolina, who ran for the presidency and became a vice presidential candidate in 2004. They talked about the war in Iraq, taxes, and the potential challenge from fellow Democrats, Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama.
You can watch the interview on Saturday night. It will air on Channel Two News Tonight, following the Dallas Cowboys vs. Seattle Seahawks playoff football game.
