Hollywood moguls throwing fundraiser
WASHINGTON Senator Barack Obama's presidential aspirations are getting a boost from Hollywood.
Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen are throwing him a fundraiser next month.
Andy Spahn is a political adviser to Katzenberg and Spielberg. He says some 700 invitations to the 23-hundred-dollar-per-head event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel went out this week.
Katzenberg, Spielberg and Geffen are the founders of the DreamWorks movie studio.
Katzenberg has endorsed Obama, but Spielberg hasn't made up his mind. He's a longtime supporter of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Geffen also has not publicly endorsed a candidate.
Clinton spokesman Phil Singer didn't comment directly on the Obama event.
