Nader says a presidential run could hinge on Clinton
SAN FRANCISCO Consumer advocate and former presidential candidate Ralph Nader says he may enter the 2008 race if Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton becomes the Democratic Party's nominee.
Nader strongly criticized the former First Lady in an interview on K-G-O radio today, saying -- quote -- "She has no political fortitude."
He also called her a bad version of her husband and former President Bill Clinton.
Nader's Green Party candidacy for president in 2000 was blamed for helping put George Bush in the White House by siphoning votes from Vice President Al Gore. He says he'll considering running again, depending on who the Democratic candidate is.
Nader is in San Francisco promoting a new memoir, "The Seventeen Traditions."
